A small operation built around one idea: that the most useful thing a travel site can do is help you decide, even when deciding means not booking.
What we do
We plan and run private days out from Rethymno — the south coast, the mountain villages, the monasteries and caves inland, and the two cities east and west. We also handle the transfers that bracket a holiday, from the airports and the ferry ports.
Everything is private. The vehicle and the day are yours, no other parties join, and the pace is set between you and your driver rather than by a timetable.
How we are related to Intertrip
Excursions and transfers are operated by Intertrip Tours, and accommodation enquiries go to Intertrip. These are related businesses, not independent recommendations, and we say so on every page where a hand-off happens rather than leaving you to work it out.
That relationship is the reason this site exists as its own thing. A booking engine is good at taking a booking and bad at telling you that the walk down to Preveli will defeat your father-in-law in August. This is where that gets said.
The rules we hold ourselves to
Travel content has a credibility problem, most of it self-inflicted. These are the rules we work to, and you can hold us to them.
- No invented prices. Excursion and transfer pricing moves with season, vehicle and party size, so we quote against your booking instead of publishing a table that goes stale.
- No invented reviews. Until we hold a verified export with author, date, rating, platform and source URL for each entry, the reviews page says exactly that and nothing more.
- No guessed facts. Where our sources disagree — the Melidoni Cave entrance fee is the clearest case — we say so and confirm it rather than publishing the more convenient figure.
- No photographs implying something untrue. We have not cleared owner photography for reuse yet, so the imagery on this site is openly illustrative rather than stock passed off as a named beach.
- No claims about licensing, qualifications or awards without documentation. A driver is a driver; a licensed site guide is a separate qualification and a separate service.
What that costs you
Some things on this site read as gaps: a duration that says “confirmed when you enquire,” a fee we will not print, an experience that is request-only. Those are deliberate. A gap you can see is more useful than a number you cannot trust, and every one of them is a question we are actively putting to the operator.
Getting in touch
The enquiry form is the fastest route and it reaches people rather than a queue. If something on this site has gone out of date, that is also where to tell us — we would rather hear it from you than leave it wrong.
